Been married for 35 years, to the same wife, Pat, this August 2008. Have four children, two are married and they have between them our 5 grandkids, all under four years of age. Those two and one of the others live in Kilgore, and the fourth lives in Fort Worth. We are moving from northwest Louisiana to the Longview/Kilgore area this summer, after two years there in LA.
I am in the custom apparel/promotional products business, with Graff-X Marketing Specialties in Longview, and my wife is still teaching. A son, two daughters and a son-in-law are all educators. Another son drives trucks for the oil industry out of Kilgore.
My high school years were very good, especially my time singin' and pickin' with The Strangers (Jeff Falter and Tom Watson), and I love to get together and see the faces and people that were around then. There is never enough time to "ketchup" with everyone, but I do enjoy it and hope for more opportunities to do so. This last reunion was excellent and let's do it again soon.
Thanks to the classmates who remembered my face, and I look forward to a time of visiting again and finding out more about the lives of those who were Yellow Jackets in '67, and how they have impacted the world! Would enjoy hearing from some of you at

I have laughed so much over the last 41 years, but nothing was as funny as my first day at AHHS.
I arrived from California during my Junior year.... there was an immediate clash of "dress code".
None of you knew that I arrived at the beginning of the "Fat Stock Show" week. All the festivities surrounding that week at school and in Fort Worth were more than I imagined as a city slicker.
I walked up the front steps to see everyone in their "Western duds" and shock and awe, went to grief... as I entered Homeroom. I was dressed in Levis, blue decker tennis shoes, a Madras shirt with a wind jacket pullover. I looked as funny to you... as you all appeared to me. I was sick...I wanted to go home to California immediately. I was afraid to ask "anyone" if they always dressed like this...Can you imagine being the new kid on the block...what I thinking? I had just entered the Twilight Zone and I was unable to turn off the television set.
I kept my mouth shut...I asked only one question of another student...are there any other High Schools in this area? I had a great sigh of relief ....about 4th period, I learned this was a celebration and tradition...how do you spell "relief" at 16?
Aside from that event, I will never forget my final year and a half of high school at AHHS. Everyone that surrounded me, helped me become a better person while I was at AH. Your genuine warmth and understanding during those growth years helped me deal with "life" years later. It was also your Southern hospitality and traditions that make you so great as Texans. I brag on you often, but one day we will meet again; perhaps in the Superbowl, when my Niners will whip your Cowgirls into submission. LOL
